Instructions for Use

Please read the TREMFYA® Pen Package Insert and discuss any questions you may have with your healthcare provider.

1. Remove TREMFYA® from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for approximately 30 minutes. Do not warm the pen any other way.
2. Inspect liquid in window to confirm that it is clear and slightly yellow. Do not inject if the liquid is cloudy or discolored or has large particles. If you are uncertain, call your doctor or pharmacist for a new pen.
3. Choose an injection site, use your lower stomach area or the front of your thighs. If a caregiver is giving you the injection you can use the back of upper arms. Do not use the 2-inch (5-centimeter) area around your belly-button. Do not inject into skin that is tender, bruised, red, scaly, hard or has scars or stretch marks.
4. Wash hands and clean the injection site with an alcohol swab and allow it to dry. Do not touch, fan, or blow on the injection site after you have cleaned it.
5. Remove the cap. DO NOT touch the yellow needle guard.
6. Position the pen straight onto the injection site, with the viewing window facing you then push and hold pen against the skin. You will hear the first click.
7. Hold firmly for about 10 seconds, you will hear a second click. Confirm the injection is complete by ensuring that the yellow plunger rod has stopped moving in the viewing window.
8. Lift pen straight up, and check the injection site. If there is bleeding, gently hold pressure over the site until the bleeding stops. Do not rub the injection site.
9. Throw the used pen and cap into a sharps disposal container.
